The estate traces its roots to the Biondi Santi family and follows a traditional approach. The Rosso receives the same treatment as the Brunello: long macerations with native yeasts in concrete, followed by about a year in large Slavonian oak casks. Fruit comes from higher elevation parcels planted on limestone, clay, and
