Black Leopard #1 vase This image is focus stackedA series of portraits of a panther, or black leopard. Panthers are more commonly known these days as black leopards or black jaguars. The colouring is caused by melanism and gives the black leopard an advantage in the dense forests they are native to, where light levels are low. The leopards spotted markings are visible but hidden by the dark pigmentation. Archival pigment print on smooth matt Hahnemhle Photo Rag 308 gsm heavyweight art paper.
